DESCRIPTION:Funded by Research Connections \nRoots\, breath\, & Belonging:\nThe Impacts of Climate Change on Child Health\nAbout the Theme\nThe effects of climate change threaten and impact many children and families across the globe. These impacts are felt and experienced by today’s generation and will be felt for generations to come as the world continues to evolve and change. \nThis year’s 21st Annual Child Health Research Days conference will dive deep into the waters of climate change and take a closer look at the impacts clinicians and scientists are seeing in both patient care and research and how children and families are dealing with these changes. We will also explore new ways of thinking to tackle this global concern together. \nFrom the effects of environmental toxins on children’s health\, to air quality impacts on healthy lung development and disease\, we are excited to welcome a broad spectrum of experts to Winnipeg to share their insights and learnings with delegates. We can’t wait to welcome you to this year’s pillar event!
