Managing Health Research through the transition to RITHIM.
As of July 2, 2025, RITHIM Harmony is accepting NEW health research project applications*. This milestone marks a transformative step in streamlining health-research approvals and accelerating innovation across Manitoba’s bioscience sector.
For health research projects that are Active, Fully Approved, or have In-Flight Applications, transition will be happening over the next six months. Details regarding the transition to Harmony can be found at https://rithim.ca/harmony/managing-in-flight-and-active-research/.
Please visit the RITHIM website often and sign up for our newsletter so you keep up-to-date on communications from the RITHIM program. On our website, you will find all kinds of resources, including:
- Training material for research teams and reviewers
- Links to live training sessions
- Meeting dates and submission deadlines
- The link to the RITHIM Harmony application portal
Currently submissions are limited to University of Manitoba affiliated applicants. For health research projects from other Manitoba post-secondaries, transitions will happen by the end of December 2025. Please be on the lookout for communications from RITHIM and your home institution for further details.
