Research Manitoba is pleased to announce an enhancement to our Trainee grant programs, aimed at providing increased support to Manitoba researchers. Effective today, the maximum award amounts for the following grant programs will be increased to better align with the evolving needs of research projects:
- Master Awards: $12,000 – increased to $20,000
- PhD Awards: $17,850 – increased to $25,000
- Postdoctoral Awards: $36,750 – increased to $60,000
This enhancement comes as part of our ongoing commitment to fostering innovation in research. By raising the maximum award amounts, we aim to enable our grantees to undertake more ambitious projects, expand their reach, and achieve greater outcomes.
The increased maximum award amounts will apply to all future grant cycles, providing eligible applicants with greater opportunities to access the resources they need to realize their visions and make a meaningful difference with their research initiatives.
