The Victoria Hospital Foundation (VHF) is dedicated to advancing healthcare at the Victoria Hospital and in the community. They engage with community, health experts and other stakeholders to identify, support and fund innovations that enhance patient care and improve the health and well-being of our community.
Through a strategic partnership with Research Manitoba, this research grant is being offered for investigators who are practicing healthcare professional within the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) and hold a faculty appointment, including Adjunct positions, at a post-secondary institution within the province of Manitoba.
The VHF Research Grant Program aims to support interdisciplinary research projects with the potential to enhance adult mental health, geriatric health, and/or overall health and well-being of older adults within the province of Manitoba.
The following priority areas have been identified for this research grant: Novel therapeutics; Remote access and artificial intelligence; Indigenous health; Improvements to quality of care; and/or Improvements to geriatric care.
Applicants must describe how their program of research fits with one or more of the above priority areas.
