Research Manitoba is seeking proposals from qualified First Nations, Métis, and Inuit consultants, Knowledge Holders, Indigenous-led organizations, and consulting teams to support the development of a new Indigenous Research Framework and related Indigenous research ethics initiatives. The work will help guide how Research Manitoba supports, funds, and engages in Indigenous-led and Indigenous-informed research across the province.
The successful applicant will provide strategic, cultural, and relationship-based guidance, support engagement with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit partners, contribute to First Nations, Métis, and Inuit research ethics education and policy development, and assist with the creation of an Indigenous Identity Policy. The project runs from September 2026 to March 2027.
Research Manitoba welcomes proposals from consultants and organizations with demonstrated expertise in First Nations, Métis, and Inuit research governance, ethics, engagement, and relationship-building.
Proposal submissions are due by 4:00 p.m. CST on August 10, 2026.
