Research Manitoba is proud to announce the recipients of the Research Connections Grant first intake of 2024. This program is designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange within Manitoba’s research ecosystem by providing funding to support a diverse range of research events across the province.
Research Connections supports events that create skill development opportunities, facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration, highlight research findings to the public, and connect researchers with potential industry partners. Eligible events include conferences, workshops, seminars, and other research-related gatherings.
For the June 2024 intake, Research Manitoba invested $64,750 towards 13 events across Manitoba.

We recognize the importance of fostering collaboration, promoting diverse perspectives, and providing opportunities for researchers to enhance their profiles.”
The events represent a wide array of research disciplines and goals, reflecting the diverse research interests within Manitoba. The funded events are:
