Research Manitoba has announced the 2024 expression of interest dates for the Innovation Proof of Concept Grant.
Effective immediately, Research Manitoba will implement the two-intake system with deadlines as follows:
Intake 1:
- Opens: May 21
- Closes: July 15
Intake 2:
- Opens: August 26
- Closes: October 15
The Innovation Proof of Concept Grant is designed to support researchers in Manitoba in advancing innovative ideas towards commercialization. It provides funding for proof-of-concept activities, such as prototype development, feasibility studies, and technology validation.
This two-intake system allows researchers to plan their submissions more effectively, aligning with their project timelines and giving them multiple opportunities to apply for funding throughout the year.
Researchers interested in applying for the Innovation Proof of Concept Grant are encouraged to review updated guidelines and application procedures on the Research Manitoba website.
